Thread: How to DIRECT Link To Review Box on Google+ Local Pages

Picked up this nifty tip from Joel Headley at Google who tweeted it from LocalU yesterday.
I had heard it somewhere before but didn't have the syntax saved anywhere, so wanted to share here.

Ya like I said I've seen in mentioned before, so know it wasn't new info.

But I see people ask all the time, so it's not common knowledge and didn't remember the format, so thought it would be handy to have a reference here in the Review forum we can just send people to.

Here is a problem that I am running into, and am wondering if anyone has a work around. This link works beautifully if your client is using their desktop, however, almost everyone today is running around on their cell phones, and wouldn't it be nice if we could get them to write a review right there in the store? However as far as I can tell, Google simply doesn't allow cell phone users to write reviews. Instead the link pulls up the business' Google+ mobile page where you can +1 the business. However you can't actually write a review. Does anyone know a workaround for mobile users?

Here is a work around Mike Blumenthal posted here at the forum. Have not tried/don't know if still works.

Sad to say, there really isn't a practical workaround I know of. Customers need the Google+Local app in order to write a review. Not only that, but they must navigate to the Google+Local page from within the app; they can get to the listing just fine through their browser, but they won't see a "Write a review" button. So QR codes aren't much help in this case. A PIA, to say the least...
